Disaster thinking

If you’re interested in disaster research and thinking about ways we can better handle disasters, you’re in a good place.

I pick out great disaster research and pull out the key takeaways for practice, and I occasionally talk about issues that I see on the ground - which is Queensland, Australia, our most disaster-prone state.

Usually I will focus on community disaster behaviour research, but sometimes interesting stuff comes from other areas of the field. If you have a topic you are interested in, let me know!

Cheers,
